garabagh.org – First site on Karabakh in Farsi launched
The first site in Farsi dedicated to the Karabakh issue and the events of 1988 and 1992 launched. As the creators of the site - the Iranian Armenians – inform, a lot of materials about the history of the Armenian Artsakh national-liberation movement as well as materials telling about the struggle of the Armenians of Artsakh are translated and posted on garabagh.org.
Moreover, the resource represents materials, documents and photographs testifying the genocide of Armenians in Sumgait, Baku and Maragha. A separate section of the website speaks about the act of ethnocide - the destruction of Armenian medieval cross-stones in the cemetery of the Old Jugha in Nakhichevan. There are also presented materials revealing the truth about the events taken place on Feb. 26, 1992 in the vicinity of Aghdam (so-called "Khojaly events").
According to information received, at present they are working on translating films produced in the frameworks of the "Ordinary Genocide" project – “Baku, January 1990 ", " Sumgait, February 1988 "and" Maragha, April 1992” – into Farsi. The films are planned to be placed on garabagh.org. The site also contains references to the Armenian Internet resources on topics of Artsakh.
