Expert: No new tendencies in negotiation process
Indeed there are no new tendencies in the Nagorno Karabakh settlement negotiation process. Currently mediators make efforts to maintain the negotiation process as such, former member of NKR parliament, editor-in-chief of the Stepanakert-based Analitikon magazine, expert Gegham Baghdasaryan told a news conference in Yerevan.
He said it was not accidental that the other day a EU representative in Baku attached importance to maintenance of ceasefire at the current phase of conflict resolution.
G. Baghdasaryan supposes that Azerbaijan can abandon the negotiation process and choose a military way of resolving the conflict.
“Azerbaijan’s military rhetoric intensifies when a good possibility in the negotiation process is spoken about or before a high-level meeting because Azerbaijan does not want to make any concessions,” expert said.
