Wave of protests raised in the Middle East
On Friday mass protest actions are to be expected not only in Egypt but also in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen.
As "Vesti.ru" reported, demonstrators in Syria protest against the "corruption and anarchy". In Jordan the Islamists will join the protesters. They call upon the authorities to implement reforms immediately. Yesterday a protest was held in Lebanon at the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut.
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, said he was ready to resign, but fears chaos will start in the country. As the BBC reports, he said that the Islamist movement "Muslim brothers” can take the opportunity and to come to power.
Thousands of demonstrators are still in the main square of Cairo. The opposition of Egypt declared Friday to be "Mubarak’s last day." The Prime Minister Ahmed Shafik ordered the units of the Ministry of Interior not to hinder the upcoming rallies.
