Julian Assange not to sue “The Guardian”
The rumors that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is going to sue “The Guardian” for libeling him have not been affirmed, David Leigh, the chief of the periodic stated in his Twitter page, the sources inform.
"Assange will not sue The Guardian for libel,” his lawyer Mark Stephens confirmed, “I am glad that Julian was not a hypocrite," Leigh’s report says.
The fact that the founder of WikiLeaks has threatened to publish the court, Monday, Feb. 7 reported the newspaper The Independent. In the note stated that the charges stemmed from some of the allegations which were contained in the published book, newspaper journalists on the activities of his site.
“The Guardian”, the exclusive partner of WikiLeaks had received and duplicated the secret documents of the US Pentagon and State Department.
