Expert: If MG is passive, NK conflict will be frozen
The visit of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to Yerevan on January 24 and their meeting with the Armenian President remain as merely a regular political visit and meeting, Director of the Caucasus Institute, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told reporters in Yerevan.
“These visits will solve no problem,” he said.
According to the expert, the MG activities pursue two purposes: “the first is the internationalization of the Nagorno Karabakh process, the second is being a mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”
If the Minsk Group is passive, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be frozen, Iskandaryan stressed.
