Aeroflot Open: Kotanjian stays in lead in Tournament B

GM Tigran L. Petrosian has scored 5 points, GM Sergei Movsesian – 4.5, GM Avetik Grigoryan - 4, GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian - 3 points out of 8 before the last round of Tournament A at Aeroflot Open, Moscow.

GMs Le Quang Liem (Vietnam) and Ivan Cheparinov (Bulgaria) are leading the table with 6 points each.

GM Tigran Kotanjian has scored 6.5 points out of 8 and is leading the table before the last round of Tournament B. GM Nikolai Kabanov has also scored 6.5 points, however, he is behind the Armenian chess player in the tie-break. FM Pogos Nakhapetian is half a point behind the leaders. FM Ovik Hayrapetian, GM Davit G. Petrosian have scored 5.5 points each.

Armenian chess players continue to play excellently in Tournament C. Before the last round, they take six of the first seven places.
