Armenian, Georgian PMs reach new agreements
The Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia Tigran Sargsyan and Nika Gilauri have discussed all economic cooperation issues on the Armenian-Georgian agenda and reached new agreements in Yerevan, as they told a joint press conference on February 16.
Tigran Sargsyan noted that Armenia and Georgia have agreed on customs cooperation, road building, cross-border transport and transit.
Socio-economic issues, fight against inflation in Georgia have been also discussed, according to Armenian PM.
The Prime Ministers have touched upon agreements reached between the Armenian and Georgian Presidents during M. Saakashvili’s visit to Yerevan on January 22-23, 2011, efforts towards their implementation.
N. Gilauri noted that they have discussed many interesting issues in various fields, particularly, joint border management, transit issues, inflation.
“We have many new joint projects with Armenia,” Georgian PM stressed.
