U.S. Secretary of State meets with Georgian FM
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze on February 17 in Washington.
H. Clinton welcomed her colleague and noted that the U.S. is committed to stable relations with Georgia; the two countries have many issues to discuss, many common problems and common values, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.
U.S. has not officially applied to Georgia to install anti-missile radar in Georgia’s territory, G. Vashadze told ITAR-TASS.
“As to Georgia, we stand for any kind of cooperation with the United States, including military interaction,” Vashadze said, according to euronews.
