Economic development programs discussed in Yerevan
The collegium of Armenia’s Ministry of Economy and Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia (UMB(E)A presidium are holding a joint meeting in Yerevan to discuss programs related to industrial policy, improvement in business and investment climate.
Chairman of UMB(E)A Arsen Ghazaryan noted that their mission is to promote strategic economic development, to simplify practical administration issues to secure real growth in sectors having export tendency.
Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan reported that the Ministry plans to hold joint collegium meetings with Chamber of Commerce and Industry presidium and Armenian Development Agency leadership.
According to the Minister, government takes serious steps to improve industrial policy, investment and business climate.
“We must achieve noticeable results this year,” T. Davtyan noted.
