Trilingual website on Armenian community of Baku launched
www.baku.am trilingual website on the Armenian community of Baku has been launched in Yerevan today.
Website’s objective is to present the history of the Armenian community of Baku with historical facts and without the language of hatred, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan told reporters.
The unique website covers public, political, cultural and business life of Baku’s Armenian community.
“The website is open for supplements, observations and suggestions,” Demoyan said.
In his words, this project is also important to Azerbaijani citizens, especially for the younger generation.
According to H. Demoyan, “the website provides information about rich cultural and civilization contribution of the Armenian community to the history of the city of Baku. It will come as a source of alternative information for young Azerbaijanis.”
