Bridge 2011 – “Armenian Davos” - opens in Tsakhkadzor
Armenia’s Tsakhkadzor resort city is hosting the 8th International Economic Forum Bridge 2011. The forum discusses macroeconomic stability in the post-crisis world.
“Traditionally, we have turned Tsakhkadzor into regional Davos,” Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said in his opening speech. He noted that it is no longer acceptable to work with old categories, with the whole world seeking new solutions.
According to the Prime Minister, the crisis is not over yet, which is also confirmed by international discussions, and the basic process in the modern world is idea, not production.
“The government needs to take this into consideration to be able to develop economy,” T. Sargsyan said.
Bridge 2011 has been organized by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia, Center of International Integration Support MASTER. The forum is held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
