Bako Sahakyan visits French Senate
On March 7, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the French Republic Senate where he met a group of Senate members.
Bako Sahakyan highlighted the role of France in the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and maintaining regional peace and stability meanwhile noting the interest of Artsakh in cooperation with France, especially with the French Parliament.
The President touched upon the Karabakh issue, the current phase of Artsakh’s socioeconomic development and pivotal directions of the country’s foreign policy.
The importance of such meetings as the component of developing bilateral relations was mutually noted.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France Vigen Chitechyan, NKR Permanent Representative to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan and other officials attended the meeting, as reported by Artsakh President’s press office.
