Armenian-Romanian Commission to meet in Yerevan next time
The third meeting of the Armenian-Romanian Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Commission was held on March 10 in Bucharest, Romania.
The Armenian delegation was led by Armenian Co-chairman of the Commission, Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan. On the part of Romania the Commission was co-chaired by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Anca Daniela Boagiu.
During the meeting of the Armenian-Romanian Commission, the sides agreed to hold business forums in Yerevan and Bucharest this year, to organize annual specialized exhibitions of local products. The agricultural sector was in focus. The Ministers also singled out several fields for cooperation – jewelry and diamond cutting, health, particularly, cardiovascular and stomatology sectors, tourism, etc.
At the end of the third meeting of the Armenian-Romanian Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Commission the sides signed a joint protocol summing up the meeting and outlining further steps for reinforcing cooperation.
The Armenian and Romanian sides agreed to hold the next meeting of the Commission in Yerevan in 2012.
