Azerbaijan violates ceasefire 12 times within 2 days
The Azerbaijani army violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces over 12 times within 2 days, in the period between March 15 and 16, 2011, firing more than 200 shots, Armenian Defense Ministry reported.
“The subdivision of the Azerbaijani army fired at the Armenian posts in Berkaber, Koti, Vazashen, Aygedzor, Paravakar, Kayanavan, Chinari, Sevakavan, Yeraskh and Khndzorut. The enemy also fired shots at kindergartens, schools and cars running by.
The subdivisions of the Armenian army were more balanced, and no shots were fired in return. While Azerbaijani media reported that allegedly the Armenian side violated the ceasefire in the mentioned sectors of the contact line. On March 16, the Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman refuted the recurrent misinformation of Azerbaijan and reiterated that the Armenian Armed Forces continue to observe the ceasefire.
