Erdogan condemns Libya violence
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed Jeddah Economic Forum and called for peace due to the regional incidents saying they can stop bloodshed in this geography together and they want the Libyan people to determine their own future.
“This is not the time to point our weapons to our own brother but to embrace each other. Violence against Libyan people and sounds of bullets are hurting our hearts.”
Prime Minister Erdoğan said that they had suggested to listen to the voice of the people in Tunisia and Egypt and reminded that they have displayed the same principled attitude towards Libya.
Erdoğan exclaimed with sorrow that alas Libya had chosen the way in which this cost had to be paid. “We want Libya to have stability and military intervention to end as soon as possible. We can change the fate of this region together.”
Erdoğan said that Qaddafi is in a contradiction in himself and he should have transferred his powers to Libya's official rulers, Press TV reports.
