Minsk mourns victims of metro bomb attack
April 13 is announced a day of mourning in Minsk for the victims of the blast at the Oktyabrskaya metro station.
According to the latest reports, 12 people were killed and 150 were injured in the blast.
The Belarusian authorities said it was a terrorist attack.
The reasons of the attack are not known. No grouping has claimed responsible for the blast.
The KGB (State Security Committee) of Belarus said on Tuesday that it has identified a young man of non-Slavic appearance as a main suspect in the subway explosion. The investigation has detained three people.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said the deadly blast was an attempt to destabilize the country.
"I do not rule out that this [blast] was a gift from abroad," said Mr Lukashenko, according to Radio Liberty’s Russian Service.
