Obama’s address strong, Marie Yovanovitch says
U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and laid flowers at the Memorial of Armenian Genocide victims. Talking to reporters, she said that the U.S. Embassy visits Tsitsernakaberd every year on this remembrance day having much importance to the Armenian people.
“In his address, U.S. President Barack Obama stressed that the American people stands by the Armenian people. I believe Obama’s address is strong, conveying the devotion of the American people to the Armenian people. Obama’s position is well known, and it has not been changed. In his address, he stressed the necessity of looking at the future,” Yovanovitch said adding that it would prevent recurrence of such events.
