Bulgaria recalls 13 ambassadors
Bulgaria has recalled 13 ambassadors. This was the result of a commission which produced a list of former secret service agents, Bulgarian Foreign Ministry reported.
After the investigation by the Foreign Ministry it was discovered that out that of the 462 employees investigated, 196 had collaborated with the state special services.
The ambassadors did not have their status revoked as that can only be done by the president but George Prvanov did not sign the relevant decrees.
The ambassadors to Belgrade, Athens, Berlin, Beijing, Sarajevo, Bucharest and several other capitals have returned to Sofia, the Voice of Russia reported.
