Grishchuk: “Aronian got privilege by the black”
Russian chess player Alexander Grishchuk explained why on the second round of the semi-final of the applicants couldn’t win Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronyan with the white figures. The game ended in draw.
“After the start I had a positional privilege and the black took the advantage while the game was developing, due t which they were trying to think something out. I couldn’t resist it and our positions became equal. As a result we ended in draw,” “Sovetski Sport” quoted Grishchuk.
