Erdogan, Gilauri discuss energy projects
The Prime Ministers of Turkey and Georgia, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Nika Gilauri met in Istanbul on the sidelines of the Fourth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries.
The two sides focused on Turkish investments and energy cooperation issues, Gruzia Online reported.
Upon the completion of the meeting, Gilauri said these issues will be discussed thoroughly in late May when the Turkish Prime Minister visits Georgia.
“We discussed energy projects, investments and the possibility of joint management of Sarpi Customs House,” the Georgian PM said adding that the Turkish Prime Minister will attend the opening of the Customs House.
