Last reactor stopped at Japan's Hamaoka NPP
The last active reactor has been stopped at Japan's Hamaoka nuclear power plant on Saturday, Lenta.ru reports.
The decision to shut down the plant was made because the plant is located in a potentially dangerous area.
Seismologists forecast that a large earthquake with the magnitude up to 8 may hit the area in the coming 30 years.
In May, only two of five reactors of the Hamaoka plant remained active. The fourth reactor was stopped last Friday.
