Berlusconi loses elections
Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi suffered a setback in local elections with Milan’s city hall poised to fall to the opposition as a weak economy and corruption charges sapped support for the prime minister and his allies, the “Bloomberg” rights.
Even in Berlusconi’s native town, in Milan, the forces supporting Prime Minister lost.
Thus the analysts note that the corruption charges and allegations he paid for sex with a minor left their negative influence over Berlusconi’s reputation.
In Torino the opposition won receiving 50 percent of voices.
Only in Naples, regardless the continuous problem with the garbage, the representatives of the authorities took victory.
The final results of the elections will be known today at the evening.
