Tigran Kotanjian finishes second at Beirut Open
Armenian GM Tigran Kotanjian scored 7 points out of 9 and finished second among 68 participants at Beirut International Open Chess Tournament. Kotanjian was only 0.5 points behind the winner, GM Alexei Barsov (Uzbekistan).
Several chess players from Armenian Diaspora also participated in the tournament. Rafi Djikerian (Palestine) scored 5.5 points, Jirair Oknayan (Lebanon) 5 points, Danielle Bedrosian (Lebanon) 3.5 points, Harak Kailabozian (Lebanon) 2.5 points, armchess.am reported.
