Guus Hiddink wants Ray Wilkins for Chelsea
Ray Wilkins could be in line for a sensational return to Chelsea as part of Guus Hiddink’s new backroom team.
Ray Wilkins was the Dutchman’s assistant manager during his three-month spell at Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2008-09 season, which ended with victory over Everton in the FA Cup Final.
But the former Chelsea skipper was mysteriously axed in November.
Turkey boss Hiddink has let owner Roman Abramovich know he would like to work again with Wilkins, 54, as he prepares to return, The Daily Star reported.
