Armenian National Statistical Service released data for July
“In July 3% of deflation has been recorded in Armenia compared with June, the food prices have been reduced by 5,9% while the prices of nonfood products remained unchanged,” Gurgen Martirosyan from Armenian National Statistical Service told the reporters today.
The official said the service has already monitored, collected data and concluded them for the month of July. “From 13 food groups price reduction has been recorded in 8, inflation has been recorded in 4 of them, and 1 group has remained unchanged,” G. Martirosyan said.
Official says deflation has been recorded in vegetables and potato market forming 34.9%, in fruit market – 23,3%, in dairy products – 1,4%, fish market – 1%, etc.
G. Martirosyan said inflation has been recorded in meat market – 2,9%, the prices of coffee, tea and cacao powder also keep rising – 0,9%, confectionery prices also grew – 0,4%, etc.
