Thai former PM to arrive in Japan regardless the protests
Thailand's fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra was scheduled to arrive in Japan Monday for a week-long stay, intending to travel to areas hit by the March disaster, the www.monstersandcritics.com informs.
The Thai opposition is against this visit. They say Japan was not to give a visa permit to their former Prime Minister, they remind the authorities of Japan that Shinawatra was accused to 2 years imprisonment in his native country and for that very reason Japan had no right to give him a visa permit.
