Security forces storm Al-Jazeera office in Egypt
Egyptian security forces stormed the Cairo offices of Al-Jazeera on Sunday, the broadcaster said, Haaretz.com reported.
Al-Jazeera said some of its transmission equipment was confiscated and one staff member detained.
Al-Jazeera Egypt, part of the Doha-based network, began broadcasting after the January 25 revolution that led to the ousting of former president Hosni Mubarak. During the protests, security forces stormed its offices and banned the network from broadcasting, accusing it of biased reporting.
