Edward Nalbandian meets with Belarusian President
At the invitation of Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergey Martinov, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian arrived in Minsk for an official visit on Monday.
In Minsk, Edward Nalbandian was hosted by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The Armenian FM conveyed him greetings and good wishes on behalf of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
Alexander Lukashenko and Edward Nalbandian discussed expansion of cooperation between Armenia and Belarus.
President Lukashenko asked Nalbandian to convey his warm greetings to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
Edward Nalbandian also met with his Belarusian counterpart Sergey Martinov. The Ministers focused on bilateral, regional and international issues.
Edward Nalbandian presented the latest developments in the negotiation process on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
After the meeting, the FMs of Armenia and Belarus signed a consultation plan between the two Foreign Ministries for 2011-2012.
Edward Nalbandian visited Victory Square in Minsk and laid a wreath at the monument dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
