More than 2 million affected by Indian floods
The death toll from floods that have so far affected more than two million people over the past week in Orissa rose to 19 on Tuesday, IANS reported.
The latest two deaths have been reported from the coastal district of Kendrapada, a senior official of the state flood control room said. "They drowned in the flood waters," he said.
Besides, nine people were swept away or drowned in flood waters but their bodies have not yet been found, he said.
