Plane crashes at Reno show; 12 people die
At least 12 spectators have reportedly died and dozens more were injured after a plane crashed during an airshow near Reno, Nevada, at the National Championship Air Races near Reno, Nevada.
A pilot lost control of his vintage plane during an air race over the skies of Reno, plummeting toward thousands of spectators before narrowly missing a grandstand and slamming into box seats.
The World War II fighter plane dived into the grandstands today during the annual show, killing its elderly pilot, and injuring at least 75 spectators and leaving a horrific scene of bodies and wreckage, the Herald Sun reports, the Global post reports.
The Accident occurred at 16.30pm by local time (at 04:30am by Yerevan time).
