Georgia hosts series of events to mark Armenian Independence Day
A series of events started in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi on September 20 to mark the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.
Tbilisi Conservatory hosted an exhibition titled “Photo Essays from Armenia.” The exhibition was opened by Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan.
A solemn sitting dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence took place at the Conservatory Hall.
The Armenian Ambassador unveiled the list of the representatives of the Armenian community of Georgia who were awarded diplomas and thank you certificates by the Armenian Ministries of Culture, Diaspora, Education and Science.
The first festive day was concluded by a concert, with famous Tbilisi singers performing the national anthem of Armenia, patriotic and folk songs.
