Eastern Partnership summit opens in Warsaw today
President Serzh Sargsyan, completing his official visit to France, left Paris for Warsaw which will be hosting Eastern Partnership summit on September 29 and 30.
The summit attendees will focus on expansion of ties between the EU and 6 ex-Soviet republics - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
The summit will host representatives of EU member states and partner states.
European Council President Herman Van Rompuy, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek, and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will also arrive in Warsaw for the summit.
