Vitaliy Murashkin photo exhibition to be opened in Yerevan
The Vitaliy Murashkin photo exhibition “Live Tracks in the Concrete Jungle” opens September 29, 6 pm at the Academia Gallery in Yerevan.
This exhibition of the young Russian photographer, Vitaliy Murashkin is his first-time exhibit in Armenia. More than 60 photos are displayed, covering different countries and differing continents. A photojournalist in Almaty, Kazakhstan, his photos are living moments, as reported only as a photographer can. Each photo presents captivating and alluring aspects of the respective countries, as seen through the artist perspective.
Romantic and philosophical, contemplative and optimistic, Murashkin seeks to capture the vivid emotions, mood, and beauty of the world in which we live. Every detail of every photo recognizes the beauty of everyday life, and represents the young photographer’s worldview, always searching, always curious, and ever open to the magic of all that is around us.
A photo” said Mr. Murashkin “feeds the imagination. It leaves us wondering what brought the subject of the photograph to this moment . . . and to where does this moment lead? There is a history of the past of which we can only imagine . . . and a dream of the future of which we can only hope.”
Whether a photo was shot in England, France, United States, Turkey, Armenia or Kazakhstan, the artist believes that countries - like people - all believe in something or someone, create something, and strive for the best. Whether in the concrete jungles of major metropolises or in small and cozy towns, each preserves their architecture and color. These unique aesthetics emphasize the elements that create the image of a nation.
This exhibition aims to portray the similarities of all people: their beauty, their differences presented by the creative diversity of humanity as seen through his eyes.
Mr. Murashkin was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1982 and began his professional photographic career at age 25. He collaborates with many Kazakh media outlets and international companies.
The exhibition will be open at Academia Gallery from September 29th to October 9th. The visitors may purchase the photo of their choice.
The exhibition will be open through October 9th.
