Car blast leaves 25 dead in Iraq
25 people were killed in a blast in the Iraqi city Al-Hillah on Friday, while more than 50 others were injured, the condition of many of them is said to be grave, according to the verified data by an officer of the Iraqi security forces, the Voice of Russia reported.
Al-Hillah is 100 kilometres south of Baghdad.
A car bomb went off when a funeral cortege was passing by.
A relative of an Appeals Court judge was being buried, while the judge and the local provincial council chairman had left the funeral shortly before the explosion.
