Tikahito Harada presented credentials to Serzh Sargsyan
Today newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia Tikahito Harada (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
As the Press Office of the RA President reports the President of Armenia congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him all the best.
Serzh Sargsyan mentioned with satisfaction certain invigoration, particularly in recent years, of political contacts and regular political consultations between the foreign offices of the two countries, and has noted that Armenia attaches importance to the development and deepening of the Armenian-Japanese relations.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that the existing potential for cooperation in different areas will be fully utilized during Ambassador Harada’s office, and will contribute to the further strengthening of friendship between the two countries and peoples.
The newly appointed Ambassador of Japan Tikahito Harada thanked President Sargsyan for congratulations and wishes and assured that he would do his best to deepen the bilateral relations. He noted that next year is the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Armenia – Japan diplomatic relations. This could be a nice opportunity for organizing various cultural events, developing and implementing cooperation programs in the economic area.
