Bako Sahakyan met Jacques Sarkissian
On 9 November President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met in the city of Geneva Senior Vice President of the Izmirlian Foundation Jacques Sarkissian.
The meeting focused on implementation of various programs in Artsakh.
Artsakh President stressed that together with humanitarian programs it was also necessary to implement investment programs in Artsakh which would have qualitatively another impact on the socio-economic development of NKR. In this context a number of concrete suggestions and projects were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan also met head of the Armenian General Benevolent Union’s (AGBU) Swiss affiliate Talin Avagyan.
The President noted that AGBU had a substantial contribution to the development of Artsakh and underlined that cooperation with this organization was important from the socio-economic viewpoint and for strengthening the inter-Armenian ties.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan and Artsakh President’s spokesman David Babayan attended the meetings, the press office of Artsakh President reported, Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic informs.
