VivaCell-MTS encourages Armenian vocal performing art

VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC proudly announces sponsoring the concert of singer and composer Lilit Pipoyan.

The efforts to keep the national identity begin with knowing one’s history and roots and passing that knowledge to the next generations. Lilit Pipoyan, author and performer of national music is a talented professional guided by this understanding.
Pipoyan’s field research in the villages of Armenia saves the truly precious pieces of national music from the possible loss.

Besides singing national music, Pipoyan also performs songs of her own. Accompanied by guitar, piano, flute and a string quartet, the songs she presents include pieces written based on lyrics of the renowned Armenian poets of different epochs. During the concerts the singer also comments briefly on the lyrics helping the audience in comprehending the hidden meanings and the symbols of the rich Armenian poetry.
