Another contract serviceman killed by Azerbaijani fire

From a gunshot wound to the chest at the NKR-Azerbaijan contact line in the southeastern direction (in the direction of Kuropatkino) at around 08:50, on November 20, contract serviceman of NKR Defense Army, Mihran Margaryan who was19 years old, died while on military duty, the press service of NKR Defense Army reported. He was killed by Azerbaijani fire.

“The attacks of Azerbaijan along the line of contact, which are mostly implemented from sniper rifles, once again confirm the fact that official Baku not only does not implement the ceasefire agreement reached at various international-level negotiations but also becomes more and more impudent in its hostile actions.

A regular incident with fatal outcome at the contact line once again comes to confirm the fact that the Azerbaijani side not only does not respect the international efforts towards peaceful settlement of the conflict but also takes decisive steps towards aggravating tension in the region. This is a circumstance that forces the Karabakh side to be stricter in its further actions and to be adequate in its responses,” the Defense Army said.

On November 19 another Armenian contract serviceman was killed by Azerbaijani sniper fire.
