30 postpaid subscribers of VivaCell won smartphones

VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC, is glad to inform that a special draw was held at the Company headquarters during which 30 postpaid subscribers won Google Nexus S smartphones.

The criteria for selecting the eligible subscribers was the following: individually paying postpaid subscribers of “Classic”, “Classic Solo”, and “Classic Flexy” and all corporate tariff plans with the three past months (from March to May) cumulative total invoice of AMD 10,000 to 18,000 were selected to participate in the smartphone draw competition, if they increase their consecutive three months (June-September) total invoice by 50% or more.

By the end of the project, 1,662 subscribers from the initial list of participants satisfied the terms of the competition and were considered as finalists for the draw.

To secure transparent and fair draw, the list of finalists was filtered by a computer in an ascending order and each fiftieth GSM number owner was invited to the VivaCell-MTS headquarters to draw a smartphone winner.

As a result, 30 smartphones were drawn by the invitees.

It turned that two winners of the draw were from the finalists chosen by the computer program to be present at VivaCell-MTS during draw. Nika Babayan and Khoren Hovhannisyan received their smartphones immediately at the end of the event.

In addition, there was a surprise for the invitees – another Google Nexus S smartphone was drawn for the draw participants. The number was drawn by a journalist from Armenia TV Geghanush Abrahamyan. The winner of the draw was Lusine Simonyan.

The three smartphones were handed to the lucky winners by VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian. The rest of the winners will receive their smartphones from VivaCell-MTS headquarters.

The participants of the project who did not win a smartphone will receive 500 on-net minutes for one month.
