Oleaster tree can never give an apricot

“I give no importance to the changes of the positions as it will change nothing. Syunik’s governor was expected to be changed, I think it would be a moral change, but it didn’t happen,” said the leader of National Self-Determination Union Paruyr Hayrikyan at the press conference referring to the latest resignations.

Nevertheless Paruyr Hayrikyan is not happy with the resignation of Karen Karapetyan, as Hayrikyan believes he had a strong value system.

As for the upcoming elections leader of National Self-Determination Union thinks that even the change of the President in Armenia will not change anything. “The positive changes will be obvious only after the changes in Parliament. Armenia needs systemic and value system changes,” P. Hayrikyan noticed.

The leader of National Self-Determination Union predicted that their party will get around 20% of votes during the Parliamentary elections. As for the quality of the elections Hayrikyan noted that there can be no perfect elections in Armenia, “The oleaster tree can never give an apricot.”
