B.Sahakyan met representatives of Argentinean Armenian community
Yesterday President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan had a meeting at the Siranoush Armenian palace of Buenos Aires with representatives of the Argentinean Armenian community.
A wide range of issues related to life in the NKR, its foreign policy and the Artsakh-Diaspora relations were discussed during the meeting.
In his speech President Sahakyan noted that the Armenian community of Argentine took an active part in the development of Artsakh as well as in making our country recognizable in Argentine and Latin America. The Head of the State also expressed gratitude to the Argentine Republic for friendly attitude towards the Armenian people and our compatriots.
President Sahakyan considered the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity among the pillars of the independent Karabagh statehood, adding that the defense of Artsakh is the defense of Diaspora.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia in Argentine, Uruguay and Chile Vladimir Karmirshalyan, head of the central information department of the office of the Artsakh Republic President David Babayan partook at the meeting, the press office of the Artsakh Republic President reports.
