“Happy family” photo exhibition kicks off

Happy faces and family stories in photos at least. On the sidelines of the action “Fighting against violence towards the women”, on the first floor of the Union of Artists’, a contest – exhibition was opened titled “Happy family.”

In the works of professional and non professional photographers happy families are depicted with a unique approach and imagination.

In her welcoming note Susanna Vardanyan noticed that the exhibition is aimed at informing the visitors about their own rights, showing that instead of being a victim they can straggle and create their own happy family, “the open discussions about the violence implemented towards the women in Armenia gives its results and the number of the women who call by the hotline rises.”

The jury that consists of representatives of Culture Ministry and artists will chose 3 best works out of 70 photos. The authors will receive a money reword. Exhibition will be closed tomorrow at 18:00.
