Calling on Diaspora Armenians: Share responsibility and success

During the meeting with the Armenian community of Marseilles the RA President Serzh Sargsyan called on the Diaspora Armenians to partake in the revelation and overcoming problems that exist in Armenia.

Stressing that the psychological barrier has gone by the establishment of dual citizenship institute the head of the Republic noticed that many Armenians from Diaspora take part in the life of Armenia.

“Surely, it is not an easy thing. It is not easy to leave the common environment and to launch a new business in a native but so unfamiliar country,” the head of the country noticed and mentioned that the problem has a solution: “We need to discuss the problems openly and freely in order to make the European rules win in our country. Pointing out the shortcomings is the half of the work, even less than the half. We have had a great progress, but have problems about which knows everyone. We should all together seek for the way of eliminating those problems and we should share the success and the responsibility.”

The president also mentioned that, “We call all of you to take part in the fair process of solving the problem of Armenia. We speak to our compatriots of Diaspora as we would speak to our relatives and by that very right of relativity we should discuss the existing drawbacks.”
