Elina Danielian’s loss was decisive
In the second round of Turkey hosted World Women Chess Championship, Armenian women chess players lost to Georgia with the score of 1.5:2.5. Elina Danielian lost to Nana Dzagnidze, which became decisive for the team’s final score as the other sets ended in draw.
Thus after the second round Armenia yielded to the fifth place. The tournament list is led by China, Georgia and Russia with 4 points each.
India improved its positions achieving the fourth place. Vietnam comes the 6th; the latter took victory over Greece team with the score of 2.5:1.5. It is followed by the team of Ukraine. Teams of Turkey and Greece received no points and conclude the tournament list.
