Armenian team loses to Chinese team
In the third round of the World Women Chess Team Championship in Turkey the Armenia’s team lost to China’s team (0-4). Elina Danielian lost to Hou Yifan, Lilit Mkrtchian lost to Ju Wenjun, Lilit Galojan – to Zhao Xue, and Maria Kursova – to Tan Zhongyi, the official site of the Armenian Chess Federation reports.
After three rounds, the Armenian women’s national team is sixth, with 2 points. China’s team dominates the tournament, with 6 points. India’s and Russia’s teams have scored 5 points, Georgia’s and Vietnam’s teams – 4 points each. The Ukrainian and Greek teams share 8th-9th places, with 1 point each, and the RSA team has scored zero points.
The teams of Ukraine and Greece took the 8-9 places with 1 point each.
