The number of jobless in France hits a record
The number of jobless people in France hit a record high in November, as the country faced a double threat of spiralling debt crisis and weak economic indicators, official data showed, the Financial Times reports.
According to figures of the labour ministry, 29,900 more jobseekers were reported in November, up by 1.1 percent month on month and 5.2 percent year on year.
It drove up the total job demands to 2.84 million in France's mainland, the highest level since 1999, reported Xinhua.
