Clinton won’t campaign Obama
Senior administration officials confirmed on Monday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would not be joining president Obama on the campaign trail, given the explicit need to avoid making her position appear political. It's customary for the Secretary of State to stay off the campaign trail, as reports the Huffington Post.
As Daily Mail reports Bill Clinton has said that he would be 'happy' if his wife Hillary decided to run for President in 2016, holding out the prospect that she could abandon her insistence that she will withdraw from politics at the start of next year.
“It's entirely up to her,” the former President told ABC News. “I believe that she's being absolutely honest with you when she says she doesn't think she'll go back into politics. But if she comes home and we do this foundation stuff for the rest of our lives, I'll be happy. If she changes her mind and decides to run, I'll be happy.”
