UN increases its missions’ representations in Syria
Two "terrorist suicide attacks" killed up to 55 people in Damascus on Thursday, the bloodiest such strike in Syria's capital since an uprising started 14 months ago.
The Syrian Interior Ministry said 55 civilians and members of the security forces died in the blasts, which injured 372 others and "caused massive material losses." The opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the attack left at least 59 dead and destroyed the nation's intelligence agency.
