90 asylum seekers lost at Australian shores
Search and rescue efforts for about 90 asylum seekers lost at sea north-west of Christmas Island are running into a second night, the Radio Australia reports.
The first rescued asylum seekers arrived on Christmas Island on Friday morning, while naval and merchant vessels continue to scour the ocean for survivors.
Three bodies have been recovered from the site of the disaster but authorities believe they still have time to find survivors.
