S. Sargsyan attended opening ceremony of a new Brandy Company
Today the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan was in Aragatsotn region on a working visit. He visited the newly constructed “Golden Grape ArmAs” Brandy Company and took part in the opening ceremony of the Company. The president was accompanied by the RA Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan, RA Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan, RA Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan and other officials.
Serzh Sargsyan walked around the Company and got acquainted with the abilities of the Company.
The director of the Company reported the journalists today that they had received 1000 tons of grape of which 525 from Kosh, Agarak, Sasunik and 50 tons from Yeghegnadzor and the rest are from the grape Oorchards of the Company.
The Company has got modern equipments, Italian experts work there.
There is no internet in the place as Armen Aslanyan mentioned, but there are computers in the Company, it’s hard to work in that conditions.
There are 200 people working in there. Agro-tourism is planned to develop. To establish factories of juice, jam, grape refrigerators, etc.
